ABRACLAD CHROMIUM CARBIDE OVERLAY PLATES AND FABRICATED PARTS
WHAT IS ABRACLAD?
Chromium carbide is used to coat the surface of another metal in a technique called bulk welding. ABRACLAD 60 has a nominal 32% Cr and 4.5% CH composition with small additions of manganese and other elements, this has been refined to offer the ideal combination of abrasion and impact resistance achieving a hardness of 60-63 HRC (MORE DURABLE THAN THROUGH HARDENED STEEL)

WHY USE ABRACLAD
* Extremely hard wearing (up to 5 times more durable than through hardened steel HB 400-500)
- Saves money and downtime in production processes
- Prolongs life expectancy
* Very versatile
- Can be fabricated to design (In house service available)
- Send us the design and we will make it
- Rolled, cut, drilled, and welded
- Can be used alongside other types of steel (not one product can solve all wear issues)
- ABRACLAD ONLY NEEDS TO BE IN AREAS WHERE WEAR IS AN ISSUE
* EU Manufactured
- Full test certification
- Manufactured to highest EU standards
* Cost effective
- Medium to long term savings
- Pay more now but save in the long term
